I think I'm going back to AG 6.0, no offence meant in any way, I just feel I know it a little better. When you connect to the Internet, you are assigned an IP address (a unique and special numeric number) by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Is this to happen after one deletes the shown IP address there that it's to remains a blank text box from then on, without you imputing something into it? The text box field to change the IP address - I have deleted the IP address shown there and it doesn't seem to come back or show up again, (talking about the IP address NOT the text box itself), this is true with exiting Adguard twice and restarting it.Īfter a system restart it's still blank. Going rogue sometimes.Īny reports about this happening in AG Assistant before? That's the only trouble I've noticed with it. Maybe a Bug with it? It seems to have a mind of it's own at times. (I've had this same trouble - before this AG Beta version was installed - with these same actions of AG Assistance not staying locked with my settings I've change it to in the AG Assistance display settings menu window). ![]() The size was also changed, so all original default settings fell back - not observing the change of settings I had made. Just things I noticed and sharing with you.Ĭhecking the box use beta channel for updates, installed the beta updated version on top of AG and saved all my AG settings, filter subscriptions, license info., maybe some additional chosen that weren't in AG 6.0.Īdguard Assistant - on opening up a browser/webpage, showed in the default position - back to it's lower right hand corner of the screen/window where it's at when first installed. ![]() (not at all experienced using Beta's and Not a Bug report). Some things I've noticed about the 6.1.242.1198 beta release. (I erased IP address from the image by the way). Is it suppose to show an IP address without filling one in there?ĭoing a couple online checks showed my real ISP provider name with this IP address that was shown in this text box. The 6.1.242.1198 beta release DOES HAVE the text box field SHOWN to change the IP address, and it has an already filled in IP address shown there, would this be showing my real IP address of my system? I thought it might be my Display settings I have set, the old Man's body parts fail with age and time syndrome being the/a cause.įrom the images top to bottom you'll understand my custom display settings I had set, and that of my reverting back, to see if that would help in a changed AG UI showing more area there.ĭidn't make much difference to show the text box field area to enter an IP address, so I don't think it was something on my part or system display. (this gap where the slider/scroll bottoms out - is also shown in the 6.1.242.1198 beta release). The text field box you mentioned didn't show up for me, even a part of it, as maybe in the top border and left-right corners. To answer you - No, there's no more travel, even though it looks like the scroll/slider has some room to travel down further it doesn't move beyond shown location in my new images. I'm not very good with under the hood type things, but I can do a fair amount of troubleshooting once I read up to understand more. Sorry for a bad image before - didn't show the slider. That's a fair question you asked me, as you don't know peoples understandings of things or experiences. My Thanks to everyone at Adguard for being a Premier product.Ĭlick to expand.Hello Vasily, and sorry it took me a little to get back to you. It worked for me in changing from my VPN IP address to a different one - with enabling I can see why the need maybe, in my limited understanding as it could cause more problems for users ![]() Option to add a specified IP address - has been removed? In my supplied image (below) you can see there is no place to add an IP address there now, so this I seem to think so by the (?) information pop-up about - taking you for a "proxy server" is mentioned. Has the option to add a specified IP address been removed from Adguard Premium 6.0.226.1108 now? ( I did clear cookies and history / coach in between try's). TWO different IP address being shown different from one another in each try on. Second with check mark in box on the hide your IP address, all done with a VPN running and got I tried this in Stealth Mode, first with empty box on the hide your IP address and then,
